Our Massage Team

We are privileged to have two high quality certified massage therapists—Jon Kobel and Cyndi Gac—here at our Wellness Center. Massage appointments are available for clinic and non-clinic patients.

Jon Kobel

Jon Kobel is a certified massage therapist, receiving his certification in 1992 from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. He also holds an advanced certification in Myofascial Therapy along with specialized training for muscular problems of the neck and low-back, sports massage, reflexology, and professional ethics.

Prior to joining our Office in 1996, Jon worked as the admissions director for the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, where he also taught Basic Massage Therapy and worked part-time in the school’s professional massage clinic. Jon has also held massage therapy positions at the health clubs at Indian Lakes Resort and the Chateau Louise.

Jon is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and has also been certified by the National Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. He is also certified in hypnosis therapy.

Cyndi Gac

Cyndi Gac joined our Office in the fall of 2003. She graduated from Northern Prairie School of Massage and Bodywork in 1998. Before joining our massage staff, Cyndi worked with other Chiropractors, the terminally ill, spa clients, and many people in the business world. Cyndi offers a unique blend of techniques to our massage therapies including; swedish, spot deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, and other techniques.

In May of 2003 Cyndi completed her bachelors degree at Judson College in Elgin. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, musical events, skiing, boating, and traveling.
